this is the scarf i made for Spencer for his birthday. It's double knit, so it's the opposite on each side. I made up the pattern, it came out really well! the double knitting is pretty tricky. (check out the crazy amazing lady who makes two socks at once!)
Aubry and two of her friends came to visit over the weekend. I taught them both how to knit, and Aubry finished her first scarf! here it is nearing the end.
I have also been making lots of nautiloids.

That two socks business is fing crazy. I'm confident that mine would not come apart wearable. I think you should make some little nautiloids for solstice or christmas ornaments.
Nicely done. Now you should mass manufacture some scarf pattern you create and leave it with the random people you hug on the streets of Portland... sort of like your own little calling card: the hug is over but the warmth is still there.
